How...do I become a Bay Bare?

First of all, let us make one thing clear: membership in Bay Bares is not required to visit the park. On the contrary, unlike most naturist clubs these days, we don't even require membership in a national naturist association, or other established club, in order to get through the gate. You see, we believe the chance to practice naturism is a birthright of everyone, and we're willing to open our park to those who would seek to claim this birthright. As long as you display the right attitude, in accordance with naturist philosophy, and follow our simple park rules (which are only there to ensure the safety and enjoyment of everyone), you will always be welcome here.

Visitors must check in on arrival and pay grounds fee. This grounds fee is good for the entire day and includes you if you're by yourself, the two of you if you come as a couple, or the lot of you if you bring your children (we would have said "bring the family" but then there are those who would expect one fee to cover their aunts, uncles, grandparents...you get the idea). The grounds fee covers use of all the park's facilities each day you visit. Overnight camping fees are listed in the adjacent chart.

Think you want to join the ranks of the permanently laid back and loony? Membership may be applied for after 3 visits, and is subject to approval of the club board. Annual membership for a family, couple, or single is $300.00.

PARK FACILITIES

Bay Bares is located on forty acres of land in Northwest Florida. We have an in ground pool which is also used for water volleyball. Our clubhouse is air conditioned and heated. It includes a small kitchen where you may prepare meals. Restrooms and showers are available with hot and cold water. We currently have twenty-one RV sites with water, sewage, and electrical hook ups, but almost all are occupied. We are in the process of putting in new sites soon. Included on the site are tent camping sites with water and electrical hook ups. For the adventurous, take a walk along the nature trail. This may be Seminole Country but you may encounter a Gator if you venture too far into the swamp. For travelers bringing campers or motor homes we have a dump station to discharge sewage. We have ample deck space around the pool and the "Old Oak Tree" where you can enjoy the sun and nice weather found in this area. Or, you can sit in the gazebo, out of the sun, with a fan blowing cool air on you. Or take on a game of horseshoe.  Future expansion will include the addition of a shuffleboard court and volleyball court.

We look forward to your visit!

(We do not accept credit cards.)
